Achievement of economic security is closely tied with the previous problem and is also of raised significance due to the effects of the Great Depression.  Living in a democratic and capitalistic society means that there is a currency with value for the sale of goods and services.  Finding the means to live is fundamental to the well-being to the individual and his family and determining their standard of living.  Economic security is not always about cash, but about the faith in the free market structure.  Sometimes the resolution to a problem might lie in age old systems like trade and barter.
